Lou is an average girl who lives in an average town with an average job. Everything about her is average except for her clothing, which is always mismatched and eye catching. She has recently been let go at work and is looking for a new job when she accepts a job as a home health care giver.

Will Traynor... I picture will as a tall handsome man who knows how to wear a suit. He is a wealthy business man who works too much, but also knows how to live his life. He travels to far away places and entertains an extravagant lifestyle. Until his accident.

In this novel, Moyes elegantly demonstrates two people who come into each others lives and change them forever. I loved the characters in the story and couldn't wait to see how their relationship developed. I had a hard time putting the book down, but once I finished I was shocked and confused. The ending caught me off guard to say the least (and there were many tears). No spoilers here, but I can't say the ending was my favorite. I loved the development of the characters and the overall story, but I think I'm still just sad and confused.

*Rating 3/5*

  1. I sort of agree with you on the ending being not one of my favorites either. I really enjoyed this and gave it four stars overall, but it is pretty predictable for obvious reasons... But I can't wait for the release of the film. The cast fits so well in my opinion!
