“What is your bookstagram theme?”

This is a question I keep seeing over and over on instragram and I can’t quite wrap my head around it.

Some people have all black and white pictures, some focus on single books with a white background, some are bright and colorful, and some always have a cup of tea in them. Everyone has there own style or theme and it seems as though we are supposed to pick one.

So, I went back and looked at my pictures. They’re all different. I try to use the same filter so they somewhat resemble the photo next to them, but I can’t bring myself to take the same picture over and over again with a different book in the frame. Does this make me bad at Bookstagram? Maybe. But I’ve decided that all of my ever- changing backgrounds do have a common theme. That theme is my daily life. What does my life look like? Well take a look at my Instagram and you’ll see. There are books, a curly puppy, wine glasses (more of those to come), and cameras.

Now don’t get my wrong, I absolutely adore all of the accounts that I follow. I love every single photo they post and I let them know I love them, but I have decided on my theme and that is LIFE! You won’t scroll through my pictures and see the same background or the same coffee mug. You’ll see what my daily life looks like with a couple of books thrown in. So... I hope you guys like it!

I can’t wait to continue snapping photos and talking about books with all of you! This is a wonderful community and I am so thankful for all of the friendly people that I have met so far! Look out for more posts soon.
